Who we are

Hi, I’m Graeme Fisher, an artist working in glass, painting, and printmaking in the northwest of Ireland.

I work with materials that invite light, depth, and texture. My background in Craft Design, specialising in Glass at NCAD, shaped my approach to making: patient, attentive, and grounded in process. I’ve also worked in 3D modelling and texturing, and that digital experience influences how I think about surface, tone, and atmosphere.

Inspiration & Approach

The natural world is at the center of my work — the soft shift of colour in evening light, the shape of a coastline, the quiet held in still water. I’m drawn to the calm that nature offers, and I try to echo that stillness in the pieces I make.

My process is slow and meditative. I work in layers, letting form and colour guide the pace. Each piece becomes both an object and a record of the time spent with it.

Materials & Techniques

  • Kiln-formed and lamp Worked glass

  • Watercolour painting

  • Lino and intaglio printmaking

Whether intricate or pared back, each work is rooted in light, form, and feeling.
